Critical Analysis

The verse in the song symbolizes the fear that can overcome people when they try to acheive something. It is saying that sometimes people who are trying to achieve something get scared and want to give up, but if you achieve what you are pursuing the next time you do something it will be easier. The last line in verse 1 means that he had been through the same thing, but now the he has achieved his goal he will never go through the same thing again.
